What is Frostrail?
Frostrail is a first-person survival game about keeping the Eden Engine moving through a frozen, hostile north. You gather resources during expeditions, return to the train, craft and repair equipment, assemble modular weapons, manage heat and power, and fight Revenants while the railway pushes into new territory. The game supports solo play and online co-op for up to four players. Its current Closed Beta runs from August 31 through September 7, 2026, with no NDA, while Early Access is planned for Q4 2026. Frostrail DB focuses on the tasks players need to solve now: beta access, save behavior, quest progression, friend-join failures, language settings, recipes, items, weapons and train systems. Confirmed details come from official Frostrail material; community workarounds remain clearly labeled, dated and separate from developer-confirmed facts so a changing beta build does not become permanent misinformation.
